Taiwan Mycomp is now shipping 82430TX PCIset Industrial CPU Cards

Taipei, Taiwan, June 19, 1997—Taiwan Mycomp (TMC) is now shipping samples of the CI5TTV industrial CPU cards.

Based on the 82430TX chipset, the CI5TTV supports Intel Pentium (MMX), Cyrix 6x86(L)/(MX) and AMD (K5, K6) CPUs of up to 233MHz frequency. The CI5TTV is designed and manufactured to withstand harsh and brutal industrial applications.

Standard with the card is 8MB to 256MB FPM/EDO memory support, four 72-pin SIMM sockets, two 16550 UART compatible RS232/422/485 serial ports, one high speed SPP/EPP/ECP port and a 16-level programmable watchdog timer.

The PICMG compliant CI5TTV offers advanced features including Dynamic Power Management, Ultra DMA/33, onboard VGA, USB and IrDA headers and hardware monitoring functions, such as CPU temperature sensor and auto fan off. The dimensions are 13.4" x 4.9".
