TMC Return Merchandise Authorization Policy

You can use one of the following methods to obtain a RMA number from TMC. All TMC products are backed by our warranty policy.
You can :
(1) Fill out RMA Request form on line.
(2) Download the RMA Request form and fax it to 760-284-8013.
If any questions arise, send us an e-mail [email protected] Products returned without a RMA number will be rejected. Please have the following information available:
  1. Invoice number
  2. Customer ID number
  3. Item number of merchandise
  4. Serial number of merchandise
  5. Description of the problem (must be included)
  6. Sales Representative's Name
The RMA number assigned is valid for ten (10) working days from the date of issue, and it is only valid for the product(s) for which it is issued. Products received after ten (10) working days will be considered as returned without RMA number.
All returned items must have the RMA number clearly marked on the shipping label outside of the package.
All shipments must be prepaid. Any return(s) with freight collect or COD will be rejected. Replaced or repaired item(s) will be shipped back to customers via UPS Ground prepaid.
TMC shall not be liable for product damaged during shipment. Any claims for loss or damage must be made to carrier directly. Claims for shipping errors should be reported to TMC within 3 (three) working days of receipt of merchandise.
Within Warranty:
  • For Repair and Replacement:
    1. All returns must be in well protected packages containing the defective item(s) ONLY.
    2. When the product arrives, it will be inspected and repaired or replaced at our discretion within the terms and limits of the manufacturer's warranty. All returns must be received by T.M.C. before a replacement can be sent out. NO CROSS-SHIPMENT. If damage to the product was determined to be caused by the user or if product returned for replacement is found not defective, a service charge shall be assessed.
    3. Any CPU, DRAM Module and Cache Module bought has a limited warranty of seven (7) calendar days from the invoice date. These products may be returned within seven (7) calendar days from the invoice date for repair or replacement.

  • For Credit on Account
    1. All returns must be in well protected packages containing all manuals, cables, cds, diskettes, and other accessories which are applicable.
    2. Any product bought except CPU, DRAM Module and Cache Module may be returned within fifteen (15) calendar days from the invoice date for full credit, provided the product is in the same condition as when it was received. Products returned for credit after fifteen (15) days will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
    3. Any CPU, DRAM Module and Cache Module bought has a limited warranty of seven (7) calendar days from the invoice date. These products may be returned within seven (7) calendar days from the invoice date for credit of the amount valued at the market price, provided the product is in good working condition.
    4. Credit will not be given after thirty (30) days. All credits exclude shipping both ways. All credits will be applied to customer's account for future purchases. T.M.C. does not issue cash refund.
Out Of Warranty:
Out of warranty items returned for repair will incur a $20.00 per unit service charge. If repairable, there will be a $40.00 per unit labor charge plus material cost (the $20.00 service charge will be included).
